Andar Bahar, known regionally as Mangatha, Katti, Ullae-Veliyae, and Cut Patta, is a traditional Indian card game reimagined as a polished digital experience.
The Problem
Andar Bahar is a traditional Indian card game known by different regional names and familiar to generations of players. Bringing a traditional game into a mobile application requires more than reproducing card mechanics because the interface must communicate the recognizable card-table experience while remaining responsive and easy to use on modern devices. Flip Side was created to present the traditional Andar Bahar concept through a polished digital game interface.
Our Solution
We developed Flip Side as a mobile adaptation of the traditional Andar Bahar card-game concept, also known in different regions as Mangatha, Katti, Ullae-Veliyae, and Cut Patta. The application focuses on a digital card-table experience with mobile-optimized interaction, responsive layouts, and familiar gameplay mechanics. The Android architecture is designed to provide smooth interaction across different screen sizes while translating the traditional card-game concept into a modern mobile gaming experience.
